The Blessing of Waiting on God and Learning to Wait
Waiting on the Lord is one of the greatest lessons of faith I have learned. I have learned that waiting on God is not always easy. In a world that teaches us to seek instant answers, there are moments when I want answers, direction, and change right away. Instead, God teaches us the beauty of patience and trust, reminding us that those quiet seasons of waiting are not wasted.
The waiting season reveals what is in our hearts. It teaches us to depend on Him rather than on our own understanding and reminds us that His ways are higher than ours. When I cannot see what He is doing, I can still trust who He is.
God is working behind the scenes, strengthening my faith, shaping my character, and preparing me for what He has planned.
God is not just preparing the blessing; He is preparing us. The waiting season may feel slow, but it is never empty. Every prayer, every tear, and every moment of surrender matters. The process matters because it builds the faith, character, and strength we need for the journey ahead.
I am learning that God’s delays are not His denials. His timing is perfect, and His faithfulness never fails. So, if you are waiting today, do not lose hope. Keep seeking God, keep trusting His promises, and remember that His timing is always perfect.
